1914 Eveready Mailing Catalog
I came across a rare and hard to find Eveready catalog. Very nice condition for being printed over 100 years ago! 'Eveready Portables Lights Will Show You The Way'.
After doing some research I found out that this catalog came out in 1914. The 1914 Eveready pistol light is shown in this catalog and the pistol light was in the 1914 dealer's catalog, so was the Watchman's lantern and the Cap and Label lights. All 3 are shown here. This is one for mailing. So it is a 1914 mailing catalog after all and the first one I have seen.
This was a mailing type catalog sent to store owners to show their flashlights and prices, not a dealer's catalog. It's only 6 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches and has 16 pages. This was printed by John S. Leng'e Son & C0. 33 Murray Street, New York City.
You'll notice the 1901 American Electrical Novelty & Mfg. C0. with 3 shields and the letter E inserted through the opening in the letter R trade mark on the lower right corner of the catalog. The ER trade mark was used on the ends caps of the flashlights until 1914. Hope you enjoy
